I cannot use the crop function in DPP 4 it will work for a couple of images, but then only offers realign adjust, and opens darker, sometimes I can click revert to shot settings, and it will work again, but usually even that is not available. Also, preview the image under the tool palette, often shows just a blank with a small square in the middle.

I'm running DPP 4.18.10 on Windows 11. I assure you crop works.

Based on your description, it sounds like you're having other issues that might be related to supported file formats, or the default application(s) you have set for file types. Are you editing files in RAW format or JPEG? What camera are your files coming from?

Thanks for pointing that out, Rick! I’ve had similar issues in DPP when working with unsupported RAW files—updating the software or checking file compatibility usually helps. Also, resetting file associations in Windows can clear up some weird behavior. Curious to hear what camera model the original poster is using!
