Can I sign up for automatic product software update notifications?

Hi. I’m new to this forum and wanted to know if I can/will receive automatic email notifications from Canon whenever a software update is released for any/all of my registered camera bodies and lenses. From past experience, it seems as though I’d have to learn of an upgrade from my YouTube channel members, or randomly check from time-to-time on my own. Getting specific notifications from my registered products whenever they become available would be most helpful. Thanks for your assistance.

For automatic product update emails, you want to register your gear within your My Canon Account at https://canon.us/account
