EOS R6 Mark II Difficulty Downloading Images into Lightroom

I am having difficulty downloading images taken on my fairly new R6 into Lightroom. They show as being"unsupported or damaged."

The images look fine on the back of the camera and the same cards work fine on my R5. However the images taken on the R6 will not download from the R5 either.

Any support and suggestions welcome

What specific version of Lightroom do you have installed on your computer? I'm thinking that you may have an older version that doesn't have support for the R6 RAW files.

I have Lightroom Classic version 12.4 with Camera RAW 15.4 which is the most up-to-date version as of this writing.

Do the files open properly if you use Canon DPP?

If you are using LrC with the R5 it means you have the subscription. Check your Creative Cloud app for updates. Ricky listed the current version.
