It sounds like your issues are to do with your knowledge of using your computer operating system. First, we need to know what type of operating system you are using - e.g. windows 10 or 11, or what Mac OS version you are using before you can help you with advice.

What you might find more helpful is to locate tutorials on how to manage your files in your operating system - for example on You Tube.

If you move pictures to the computer via a USB cable, or remove the memory card and read it with a USB adapter and let the camera mount on your desktop or in your file explorer (depending on the OS), you can then manually move files to wherever you want and you'll know where they are. Apps like Canon's EOS Utility, for example, have a default location they move your files to, and if you are not observant of what the app is telling you, or you don't change the location yourself, you then have to search through folders to find them. .Don't let an app tell YOU where to put things. YOU decide. Or do it manually

To add to Trevor's questions, it would also help everyone to know which application and/or process you used to get your pictures to your computer. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!
