DPP4 Lost the folder selection panel

I've been using DPP4 successfully for almost 2 years. Today I have somehow lost the panel that allows me to select the folder I wish to view.

I have tried every setting in view and window and nothing helps.

I don't know what caused my issue but I found a setting in preferences to "reset user interface at start up" this got me back to where I wanted to be.
