      <description>&lt;P&gt;You don't need any extra software to download pictures. Just use image capture. Make sure Wi-fi is turned off to use the cable.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Solution: Created a new administrator admin account and installed the EOS Utility there. The installation ran and installed properly. I then checked my regular account which it installed and was located in the Applications folder. It ran properly. So it was an issue specific to my main admin account.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks to everyone for offering assistance along the way.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
