    <description>&lt;P&gt;Same to me,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have this Digital Photo Professional 4 Batch proces running, with a subprocess called DPPBatchSaveMainForm. But it just starts-up, but no respons/ending.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried killing this process and in sometimes the 'Save' or 'Export and Save' function works, that is a dialog window pops-up with some progress indicator and it indeed exports/saves my file in .jpg format. However it doesn't work in all cases : it justs launches this DPP4 batch process running in the background and nothing to happen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I already tried de-activing anti-virus soft, handling local files instead of files on my sd card and so on. But it doesn't solve this issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For anything else the DPP4 soft seems to work fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;New to canon product, I have a problem with DPP4 :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;after install it, all is working well, exept when i want to convert for raw ton JPG or TIFF.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The first time i convert a picture juste after the install, it works, i have the window with the progress bar, and the jpg is created.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;then if a want to create a second jpg, the window with the progess bar never show, and i have in my task manager a process "Digital Photo Professional 4 Batch-&amp;gt; DPPBatchSaveMainForm" that never finish...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if i close and restart the DPP4 app, or restart computer, it does not change anything, i cant convert more raw to JPG...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i uninstall all canon software, clear all preference file, and all folder, restart computer, install all software again, the same thing happen, it work onces and never again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;computer : window 10 pro , I7 16G of ram,&amp;nbsp; nvidia 970&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;does anybody have a idea ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;hope that this message is clear to understant, i'm french and not good english writer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thank you for any help !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Frédéric&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ps: i have also try this solution from the forum:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try downloading and running this Microsoft uninstall fixit tool.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="1"&gt;Remember that the "Convert &amp;amp; Save" commnd will convert only one picture, even if you select more than one. To convert several at once, you have to use the "Batch Process" command. Why such a clumsy arrangement in 2017? Probably just because it's always been that way.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="1"&gt;Have you established that it's the sequencing and not the picture itself that's causing the problem? IOW, if you try them in reverse order, does the first one still work and the second one doesn't? The reason I ask is tht there are still a few cameras on whose RAW files DPP4 doesn't work. What happens if the program encounters such a file may be unpredictable.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

As the issue seems to relate to a dialog box not rendering correctly, I tried to export the pictures with DPP not in full screen (the button at the top right corner of the screen right beside the cross used to close the app). I resized the window to the smallest possible size then I tried to export and it worked. But in the meantime I also customized the tool bar (I removed the Print button because I have no printer) and a couple of other things I cannot remember. So give this a try.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>What's your DSLR and have you configured some settings (on the camera) to change the size of the RAW images? Mine is 5D Mark IV and I changed the image size to be 15 M pixels or so.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For me:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. I start DPP&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. I go to a folder where I have RAW files I want to convert to JPEG&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. I edit the RAW files (e.g. crop, etc.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. I select the pictures I want to convert&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. I click the button Save (or something like this: I have the French version, I don't know what's the English label) with an arrow pointing to a folder&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;6. I click Save&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And here the problem starts: the dialog box closes then DPP freezes for several seconds and that's all. If we use the Window key+Tab we can see that DPPBatchSaveMainForm window that still exists even if we close DPP. This procedure worked only once: the very first time I used DPP.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
