I have an EOS M5 and when I link the camera with its cable to my iMac (MacSierra 10.12.2), nothing register, and the link doesn't materialize at all. When iwas on the phone with Canon, they deemed that the camera USB port was not working. So I returned the camera on their advice, and received a replacement. The new replacement M5 has exactly the same problem. Any idea, anyone? Thanks!

Hello gt4e,

Did you first install the Canon Utilities prior to connecting the EOS M5? I apologize if this is redundant but there was no mention of it in your initial inquiry.
