EOS R6 Mark II Cable to use remote viewfinder on iPhone via USB

Previously canon recommended the Anker 514 cable for this purpose but its no longer sold. Are there any other cables that work as an alternative?

The camera connect app also recommends the same cable. I have tried at least a dozen other cables but have not been able to connect them to my camera. I have a R6 mk ii.

I had not heard this before, but found it here:

Canon : Supplemental Information : Cables Compatible with iPhones (start.canon)

514 is available on Amazon

Updated version is 541 - Available on Amazon

Either should work.

I dont see the Anker 514 on amazon US anymore. The Anker 541 says its only a charging cable so that will not work.

I believe there are lower cost alternatives that will work just fine. Here are the specs for the 541 - From Ankers website.

This is a generic Amazon Basics cable.

Supports data transfer rate up to 480Mbps,which can easily transfer music, photos and files

I'm sure many of the cables @sarafoster recommended will also work.

On another social media platform, people have reported the Anker 541 does not work.
