R6 III does not recieve ANY of my third-party LP-E6N batteries, It throws a code 80 immediately. They all work perfectly in R6 II and R6.

I've already update the firmware to the 1.0.2 version.

Canon doesn’t support third party gear. Using third party batteries is a risk. You are always one camera firmware update away from the batteries not working. In your case, we are talking about an entirely new camera body.

All Due Respect, Baloney.

I have been using Canon and Third party batteries since the T3i 15 years ago. EOS 7D, 7DII, 6D, 6DII, 5D IV, R5, R5C, R6, R7 all work fine with the third party batteries. I get that due to the 40 fps in Electronic Mode, the camera may need to slow down as it does with the older Canon batteries. To Throw the code is just marketing influencing the firmware. Buy overpriced Canon Batteries or return the Camera. If I can't get a good response tomorrow when I call Canon Support, I will return the camera.

I use Watson and Canon batteries. I've had zero issues with Watson batteries from a compatibility and decoding standpoint.

With that said.... what my colleague John @jrhoffman75 applies here. The R6mkIII and R5 mkII both require the E6P for full compatibility and function. If you want to use a third party battery (I reccomend) you buy the right ones.... Watson, SmallRig, Tilta and others all make compatible E6P batteries that support the continuous 6 amp discharge rate required by the newest mirrorless bodies. Your 3rd party 6NH batteries do not. The Watson and Tilta have high ratings, the SmallRig does not... unlike their V-mounts which are top rated (go figure). 🤔

Typically its not worth cutting corners. The only reason why I ever got started with Watson batteries is because the 6NH's weren't available when I bought my R5 C. (Was heading to Europe) and wasn't going to make it with one battery. I've already started replacing everything with E6P's OEM. Given the number of cameras in your stable I'd go with a sure thing.
