Like Brian, I have added the Peak Design coupler (or use a PD strap) to all my straps. Easy to add a particular strap for a condition or remove completely when desired.

EOS 90D Camera strap fittings look like a mess

Morning folks

Apologies for my mundane question

I have had an EOS90D for nearly 2 yrs and accumulated a variety of straps and associated clutter on the camera fixing point. So does anybody have a neater soluton?

I currently have a wrist strap and the kneck strap with the view finder patch permanently attached. But my 'go to strap' for long walks is the Camstrap which has seperate quick release fittings ( see photo)

It just looks a mess and would like a neater set up.

Thanks

Ramsden

I have just the quick release connectors attached to my cameras and fit the strap i need at the time to those. I have some wrist straps and some neck straps that all work with those quick release adapters.

I use Peak Design’s system; clutch type strap and the QR fitting attached to their ARCA style base plate mounted to the bottom of the camera. Other manufacturers also make similar types of base plates which will allow you to attach a QR fitting.

Photo from PD’s website:

Greetings,

I use a black rapids wrist strap and sports breathe. Both use the 1/4 20 on the bottom of the camera for retention. Like the peak design the carabiner is easy on off. A good carry system, whichever you choose, is important to protect your gear.

Thanks Guys

That's really useful, as I hadn't seen the clutch plate attachment previously. I started with a K&F Tripod etc and the clutch plate is a lot bulkier and doesn't have that facility. I can see a Black Friday purchase on the horizon!
