LP-E6P battery compatibility with EOS 90D

Hi, I have an EOS 90D and I saw that the LP-E6N/H is no longer sold, but that the LP-E6P is the successor.

Is this battery compatible with my 90D? I've read conflicting info and want to make absolute sure before I buy it.

I went to the support page for the 90D at usa.canon.com and they show the LP-E6P battery as the replacement battery.

The 90D is compatible with the LP-E6P battery. It shares similar specifications to the original battery offered with the 90D except it has a higher continuous discharge rate of 6 amps. It is 100% compatible. If you are not running the latest firmware version v1.1.1 (released in 2019) I'd upgrade to it.

Also note if you look under accessories, batteries and grips on the page I referenced below the battery is listed as compatible. It's always best to visit the Canon USA website and not sources like Reddit or Facebook for accurate information.
