I recently picked up the EOS R6, and I’m looking to stock up on some accessories to get the most out of it. Does anyone have recommendations on where to find reliable batteries, memory cards, or a good camera strap for this model? I’ve been browsing online, but it’s a bit overwhelming with all the options out there.

Canon USA, B&H Photo and Best Buy should all be good sources for some or all accessories.

Second what Rick recommended in terms of where to purchase from.

For batteries, recommend sticking with Canon's own batteries. And for memory cards, avoid micro-sized cards. Get full-sized cards from reputable brands such as SanDisk, Angelbird, Lexar.

Where did you get the R6? It should have come with a battery and buying a second CANON battery of the same part number would be smart. Typically memory cards are sold when someone buys the camera. It should have come with a strap. I am wondering how you got an R6 without a battery, memory card, and strap. B&H Photo is your friend.

Yes, the camera should have come with a basic strap and battery. However, they don't come these days with memory cards.

Canon has made four different versions of the LP-E6 type battery that your EOS R6 uses, and all will work to some extent in the camera.

LP-E6 - oldest one cannot be charged in the camera, and will reduce the maximum high speed drive rate

LP-E6N - second oldest one can be charged in the camera and no restrictions on drive speed

LP-E6NH - third version, and the one originally supplied with the camera

LP-E6P - the latest version, and will work with your camera perfectly but make sure the firmware in the camera is 1.9.0 or later to enable correct reporting of the remaining capacity of the battery. Most authorised stores sell this version of the battery as older versions are no longer in production.
