https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Camera-Accessories/Vello-ShutterBoss-II-Issues-with-my-EOS-R/m-p/505714#M3447 <P>Up until recently, I’m having the following issues with my EOS R after I plug in my ShutterBoss II</P><UL><LI>It automatically taking pictures once plugged in</LI><LI>Menu, info buttons won’t work nor can I change the shooting mode</LI></UL><P>Troubleshooting steps taken</P><UL><LI>Reset the ShutterBoss and installed new batteries</LI><LI>Plugged it in and then turned camera on</LI><LI>Plugged it in with camera on</LI><LI>Confirmed camera settings aren’t affecting it</LI></UL><P>This just started happening a few months ago and I haven’t seen a lot on this issue and the only piece of information I saw was that either the ShutterBoss is defective now or there could be an issue with the my EOS R body.
