LC-E6 Charger Making High-Pitched Squeal Noise

As mentioned in the title, my LC-E6 that came with my R5 makes a high pitched squeal when I plug it in and put the battery in the charger.

On a cursory Google search, I see others have this too. Some say no biggy, others say capacitor/resistor going bad?

Any one else with this issue? Any one have any luck with Canon?

That does not sound good. Contact the vendor or Canon Support for a replacement.
