hey! so i have a canon rebel t7 camera and im planning to start a channel doing covers of songs but I don’t know what type of usb i can connect to my camera to have a better audio quality when singing. Can anybody pls help me? Thank you!

Nahomyp09,

I don't think you can.

If you do a Google search using the phrase, "Does the Canon T7 have a microphone jack", you will see lots of people have had the same frustration you are experiencing.

The USB port goes to a different part of the camera than audio input.

Greetings,

Just confirming Steve's post. There is no external microphone input on the T7.

The USB port can be used for image transfer, using the camera as a webcam and for printing.
