EOS 5D Mark IV Transmitter Needed for Off-Camera Neewer Flash?

I’m confused about the NW600 speedlite and how to use it off camera on my cannon mark iv. Do I need a transmitter to use it off camera and if so which transmitter is compatible so it connects to the NW600 speedlite. Please and thank you !

The Newer NW-670 has no radio or optical wireless capability. It does have a simple S1/S2 optical slave mode which can be triggered by any flash.

You can use the pop-up flash, or an external flash in the hot-shoe, of your 5D Mk IV, to trigger this simple S1/S2 optical slave mode.
