I have a Canon control mount ring adapter programmed for aperture. After about 5 min with camera on the ring stops working. I have to twist off and on the lens or the mount to start working again. I have noticed that sometimes even if I do lens twist it still does not work and I have to do mount connection.

i have checked connection points and all look great with no hindrance.

I believe that I have issue with ring mount adapter but wanted to ask forum before opening ip a warranty claim on adaptor.
