I can't change the media storage for video on a Legria HF G25

I'm troubleshooting a Canon Legria HF G25 owned by my father. The camera only stores video in the built in memory with no option to change that to the SD card. I looked into the menu and it only has the option to change media storage for photos, not for video. My father also told me, that the option used to be there, but disappeared.
