VIXIA HF S100 Not recording in stereo

I have a Vixia HF S100 camcorder. I'm a musician who recorded from my mixer into the camera. The playback is in mono although the mixer sends it out in stereo. The playback of the recording only shows one bar (one channel) having been recorded on the camera. I can tell because most of the music isn't loud enough to hear both channels properly. Any help will be greatly appreciated because I am going to record a one-hour performance on Friday

It looks like an external microphone has to be powered. I am not sure what your mixer is outputting or if its signal is amplified?

Are you sure you have a stereo miniplug?
