I was told by a camera shop that the R800 has been discontinued. Does anyone know if this is true and is there a Canon replacement for the R800? Is there a phone number to contact Canon? Searching for answers...

The Vixia HF R800 does not show up on their website, so I sadly think this is true.
I am especially disappointed that some of the parts for it are no longer available, which I found out when I took mine in for servicing. BOO on Canon for unavailable parts! They should at least continue making parts as there are so many out there!
