Vixia HFM500 how to select Built-In Memory

Canon Vixia HFM500

I can not figure out how to select Built-In Memory

I'm following the instructions on pg 40 of the Instruction Manual.

After selection Home> Other Settings> then selecting the little film icon, I do not see the selection "Rec Media for Movies" as it shows in the manual.

Please help, thank you.

Hi Robinhenkel,

The VIXIA HF M500 does not have built-in memory; all movies and images are stored on the memory card.

The instructions you've seen in the manual refer to the VIXIA HF M50 and VIXIA HF M52 camcorders, also covered by the manual.
