    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi arains!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for posting!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since you are connecting the card directly to your Mac, no special software is needed.&amp;nbsp; All you need is an SD card reader that is capable of connecting to your Mac.&amp;nbsp; When you insert the card into the card reader, it will appear on your Mac as an external storage device and you can browse through the contents of the card.&amp;nbsp; You can drag-and-drop or copy-paste the files from the card to your Mac and import them into your editing software.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This didn't answer your question or issue?       <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm editing in FCP on a Mac OSX Mountain Lion system.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My client has a new Canon XA10 Camcorder.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;She handed me her SDHC 32gb memory stick.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What card reader and software are the prefered way to down load from the contents of the mem stick on to a Mac?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Amanda&lt;/P&gt;</description>
