    <description>&lt;P&gt;It depends on which software you use. Obviously, the hardware won't change if you go to Monterey. You could always put Mojave on a bootable clone and boot to that when you want to use the camera, while using Monterey for everything else.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is no pressing need to switch. My wife is still on Mojave since she is loathe to move from iPhoto.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I assume it is Firewire? I can get videos off my Sony. However, note that the software to pull it off is getting rarer and rarer, Adobe no longer supports it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I use a usb output from my Canon to the back of my mac 27'' monitor. I don't think that is firewire. Apple has stopped supporting the Mojave operating system and wants me to upgrade to Monterey which is 64 bytes.(if I recall correctly). My main concern is whether my Canon can run&amp;nbsp; this new Apple upgrade. Can it? If not, I will need to purchase a new system.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
