topic G60 noisy clicks at start up. in Camcorders

I just received my G60 and it makes a start up noise when turning it on. Some clicking and minor whirring. Is this normal? I turned off the stabilization, but it still makes the sound. I suspect it might be the ND filters initiating--for some reason--causing most of the clicking. It's unfortunate because I bought this for deer hunting and a deer will definitely hear it. Any work arounds for this?
