Are there any Canon models that do live AV out without screen icons?

I need to purchase a prosumer grade camcorder for my middles school. We are going to be using it for live video announcements and live video at assemblies. There for I need live AV out with out that does not show the desktop icons. Also, I have a Canon Vixia HF R30 but I cannot find a way to make the Icons hide.

Hi efarlow!

If you are looking for a new camcorder that is of a prosumer level, I recommend something like the VIXIA HF G30. Just as with most of our camcorders, you can disable the onscreen displays, keeping them from showing up on the video output. You can even do this on your VIXIA HF R30 by going into the menu under the [System Setup] tab, selecting [Output Onscreen Displays] then setting it to [Off].
