HF R500 as camera for closed circuit setup. Will it show the what is showing in the viewfinder

I am needing a camcorder to use as a camera for a closed circuit system in a church. Will the menus in the viewfinder show through the HDMI output. Or will it look like it does when playing back a recording. I have used cameras before which showed the rec light in the picture. I need a camera which doesn't do that. Will the Vixva HF R500 work?

Thanks for the post.

What you see on the screen will appear on the live output over HDMI. To turn off the onscreen displays, please fo the following:

Open the menu.
Select the [Display Setup] tab.
Select [Output Onscreen Displays].
Select [Off].

Yes that worked. I didn't get the email until I had a chance to go to a store. I worked with a sales person & we figured it out. This will work for what I need. I really like the menus much bettter than the camcorder I have been using. They are much easier to follow. Picture looks great. I went with the HF R52 instead.
