How can I use an iPad Mini as a external display for any new Vixia Series Camcorder?

Hey Everyone,

I've worked with Vixia's previously and am looking to purchace one of my own, a G20 or G30 most likely.

I'm very interested in using an iPad Mini as an external display and wondering if anyone has had luck with this.

do you mean you want to play your videos from your Vixia camcorder on your iPad mini? Well, that may be a little difficut. Because the video came from your camera may not be a very friendly format.

Here you can try install VLC on your iPad mini , VLC should support AVCHD (*.MTS) natively.

If this can't work, then find yourself a free converter;

Handbrake, Any video converter ,ffMPEG etc.

If this can't wrok , or the output quality is jerky.

try this one free mts/m2ts converter from pav, I used it and considered to update it.

No I know how to play video I captured back haha.

I want to, while shooting, use my ipad mini as an external display. Don't really know how else to phrase it.
