Canon ZR900 It used to export using firewire, but now it does not. Did one of our enlightened students go into a menu and change a setting?

Hello Thetiedyeguy!

The Firewire output should not be able to be disabled on this model. When connected to your computer, DV IN should appear on the LCD panel of the ZR900. Ensure that, when connected, your camcorder is under power via the AC Adapter. We would also suggest that you try and use a different Firewire cable to make the connection to your computer. It's possible that the cable itself may be bad. Test it and let us know, because, if you do not see DV IN on the camcorder, then there is no connection being made.
