Hello Dagtall,

When connecting a camcorder like the VIXIA HF G10, HDMI would deliver the fastest connection. It would be unusual for the HDMI to produce a delay. You may wish to try using another TV to make the connection and resolve this issue. It is possible that it's the television set you are currently using causing this to occur.

If this is an urgent technical support matter, we urge you to contact us directly.

I have a canon Vixia HF G10 and I am attaching it to my HDTV with an HDMI cable for live playback, problem is I am getting a half a second delay in in the image on the TV.

Can anyone advise how to get rid of the delay.

I have tried the AV cables as well and I am getting the same delay.

Thank for your time and consideration,

Dagtall
