We use this camera to record indoors and it is almost 6 months old. It is on a tripod and recording from the back of the room. We also set it to record at a lower rate to create smaller files. You do not see this on the camera screen, but when you play back on a computer the light fades in and out - lighter to darker and it is almost like a wave of light. The appearance reminds me of maybe a cloud passing over and blocking light through the windows. I have tried different settings to no avail. Anyone have an idea as to what is going on? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Bill

Hello BillH,

This sounds like the camera is opening and closing the iris based on light levels in the room. You can use the SCN mode to lock the exposure and this will keep it from attempting to adjust.

If this is an urgent technical support matter, you are welcome to contact us in technical support through our web site.
