I am using the setup recommended on page 36 of the manual. Using Canon Elura with Elgato Video capture. I have the Elgato connected to PC via USB. to the Elgato I am connecting an S-VHS male cable that is connected to the S-VHS input of the Elura. I am also using an STV-250N cable to connect Elgato to the Elura.

If I press the audio male part of the STV-250N all the way in, I hear this buzzing sound and I get no audio. It only sort of works when I press the audio only half-way. The same thing happens when I press regular headphones into the A/V connection.

Do I have the wrong cable, or is there something wrong with the camera?

link to Canon Elura 60 manual:

http://downloads.canon.com/camcorder/elura60_65_70_inst.pdf

thanks.
