    <description>&lt;P&gt;I take it you are plugging the out put of your sound board into the mic in socket on the camera. As far as I know, the R800 will not accept line level signals through the mic input hence the distortion and tinny sound. You will have to attenuate the signal level before it reaches the camera, and even then it may not work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cameras like my HF G40 auto switch between mic and line input.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
