VIXIA HF M30 - External Video Capture?

I know the camcorder doesn't have the built-in ability to stream video but I'm wondering if it's possible to buy an external video capture device to capture & stream live video. Anyone? Thanks!

Hi there,

The Vixia HF M30 does have an HDMI output port, so with a USB capture device or HDMI input on your computer you would be able to transmit a live video feed via HDMI into your coputer for use with webcam or live streaming software.

Why did customer service tell me that this model can't stream as a webcam?
