I am using a WF11 for church streaming and will be using software to provide audio for the feed. In turn, I need to disable the built-in mic. Can this be done?

Is this an HF W11? From looking at that unit's manual, I don't think you can disable the internal mic.

How though are you getting video off of the camcorder? mini-jack to RCA-style video and stereo audio? If so, just don't connect the left and right audio portions of the cable.

Hi! The model number you mentioned is not a model that Canon USA has offered. The name does appear to be similar to the VIXIA HF W11, though. Is that the camcorder you're using? Please let us know so we can provide you with the right information!

Yes, my error. It is the W11. I believe I can just disable the HDMI using the Elgato HD 60 S+ software. Problem solved... Hopefully.
