One of our RA-V1 Remote Control Adapters for our Canon Vixia recently broke and we cannot find them available for purchase any more. Is there another product we can use as a replacement?

Did anybody ever get an answer to this? I have been waiting for the RA-V1 to become available again. It still shows up as backordered on many websites? Any word?

Hello MHTVJon,

The Canon RA-V1 Remote Control Adapter is no longer a current product, which would explain why you have difficulty finding one. Through a search online we do see that one of our Authorized Dealers, Calumet Photographic, appears to have them in stock and seems to be accepting orders.

Please note that Calumet is not associated with Canon and usually we don't recommend specific retailers but since this is an out of stock item most everywhere else, you may wish to head there to see if you can order one.
