topic HF R300 recording time in Camcorders

I recently purchased hfr300 for recording services at church. The longest recording I can achieve is 30 min. It never stops recording but the recordings are divided into 30 minute segments and have to be spliced together. I am looking for a solution to be able to record a continuous 60 minute or longer segment. I am not looking for the reasons why I should shoot shorter segments. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi Bobingeorgia,

When transferring your movies to a Windows computer, we recommend that you retrieve them directly from the camcorder using the Pixela software, included with your camcorder. This software will keep the segments together and minimize the the gaps in your movie.

If you're using a Mac, we recommend using iMovie.

For more information on this, please contact us. If you contact us via email, please remember to include the camcorder model and the operating system you're using.
