HFG30 Slot A not working

Help please.

Canon hfg30 issue with SD slot A. Just stopped working. B is fine, but A is not even recognised. Tried new cards too. It will allow me to format it but won't recognise it for rec.??

Anyone??

Does slot A show up in any menu other than the Format menu? Does slot A appear on the options list of where to save a recording?

It only showed up in the format card section. I have done a full reset and all is now working... Odd!! I'll keep an eye on it though. Seemed to stop working when my card got full and it didn't go on to relay recording. Odd.

Glad to hear you got it working again. Good to know should I ever experience the same problem with the G20 that a reset might fix the problem. Thank you for posting what you did to get it working again.
