Blue Outline on Manual Mode Vixia HF S30

Hi all, I have a problem where if I put my Vixia HF S30 on manual mode, there is a blue outline on subjects on the video and viewfinder. What do I do? Is this a setting problem? It doesn't happen on auto. Please let me know ASAP. thank you!

Hello IvanHooper05,

I believe that what you are seeing is the peaking option. When peaking is activated, the outlines of subjects that are properly in focus are emphasized and shown in color.

Check this in Func.> [Focus]> Peak and turn peaking on or off.
