https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Camcorders/Canon-Vixia-HF-R400-and-R800-Cannot-Record-Issue/m-p/332676#M1322 <P>Read several posts on this issue, examined my SD cards for compatability, reset all settings and then made adjustments for recording all over again.&nbsp; This issue suddenly occured after having made several very good videos.&nbsp; Even though this may make me seem stupid - i'm going to say it anyway.&nbsp; Press the record button to start recording (obvious) BUT press the record button again when you're finished recording and BEFORE you remove your SD card.&nbsp; For some reason i began removing the SD card when i finished without pressing the record button.
