Greetings ,

It's going to be very difficult for you not to get some focal length overlap.

You basically have three lenses to consider on a budget. The RF-S 75-300, the RF-S 55-210 or the Sigma 16-300. The sigma lens is licensed by Canon for Sigma. It's extremely capable and costs more for a reason.. You didn't provide an actual budget so I'm not sure if it's within your price range. My first and second choice would be the 55-210 or the 16-300. The 75-300 would be my third choice.

EOS R10 Telephoto Lens Recommendations

I got the R10 with the RF-S 18-45mm kit lens 3 years ago on a refurbished deal ($533) around Christmas. After playing with it for a while, I ended up getting 35, 50, and 85mm primes for it as it's the cheaper way to get a wider aperture. However, I'm wanting to get a dedicated zoom lens for some reach. Nothing crazy, as I'm not doing anything like birding. But we occasionally go to the local zoo/botanical gardens, or I take trips for concerts since none happen local to me. And in some of those situations I've got limitations and can't get closer to subjects - hence the though of getting a telephoto lens.

I am on a budget, so I was considering one of the other two RF-S lenses. I think the 18-150 would be a bit redundant since I already have the 18-45 and the primes, but I know the 55-210 is longer so not quite compact for travel. I'll take any advice from anyone who's used them, or any other suggestions you think could work. I considered some EF lenses/3rd party, but with the crop sensor/general age of some I'm hesitating a little. Any suggestions/examples would be appreciated!

Unless the compact size of the 18-45 is important to you the 18-150 is a good all-around lens. Still not that large. Augment it with the 55-210 when you want more reach.
