Is the RF-S18-150mm a good travel lens?

I have a Canon R10 camera and I'm looking for the ideal lens for travel. I was looking at the Canon RF-S 18-150mm; how good is it for traveling and carrying just one lens? I have a Sigma 18-50mm, but I think it's not enough in some situations. I'm a beginner, so I don't know much about this wide range of lenses. thank you

If I had to pick from the two I would mount the RF-S 18-150mm for just the added range.

I have the EF-S 18-135 equivalent and it never leaves my camera. It will be a bit longer and heavier than the sigma, if that is a concern.

While I agree with my colleagues on their advice with the EF-S 18-150mm, let me help you put it in a better perspective since you said you are a beginner and not familiar with the range...

Put your 18-50mm lens on your camera. Look through the viewfinder, and zoom in to 50mm and take a look at what you can see at 50mm. If you have the 150mm lens, you will be able to zoom in 3 times closer yet. Does that help?
