Greetings ,

The RF 24-70 f2.8 is probably the lens I use most when traveling.

Photography is important to me so I pack heavy, even for trips around the world. That means RF Trinity + RF 100 500. Some might consider this back breaking but It's not something I'm willing to compromise on.

You need to have at least one fast lens since you may find yourself wanting to shoot early in the morning, at night or indoors. With this consideration, I think you RF 28-70 f2.8 and a RF 70-200 f4 would be formidable. This would offer a high degree of versatility without focal length overlap. It would keep you at two lenses 😀.

I got the r6Mii for my birthday. I have the RF28-70 2.8 and the RF24-105 f4. Not a professional. I shoot mainly photos when we go on vacation and random family photos. I am trying to decide what to bring when we go on vacations. Just the 24-105? or purchase the 70-200 f4 and take both the 28-70 and 70-200. I know it depends a lot on what I'm shooting, but honestly our vacations can include all kinds of scenarios.

IMHO, as always.

1st choice is the Canon RF 28-70mm f/2.8 IS STM Lens and a 70-200mm f2.8 or f4.

2nd choice is the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens by itself.
