I want to buy a new Canon 5DS R - majorly discounted! Anyone know how/from where?

Need and want a dedicated studio full-frame Canon DSLR camera. Searching on both eBay & Amazon for used Canon DSLR bodies and accessories where pricing now seems 'doable'. The problem is that the Shutter Counts on selected bodies are too high. This year, I expect to shoot between 25k-40k during Spring/Summer - predominantly Portraits & Landscape photography. Just need help/advice/guidance on buying a hi-res full-frame Canon 5Ds/5Ds r DSLR as a 'discontinued-item'.

Regarding image-processing I already have a fast-enough 2022 Asus i9 laptop with ample RAM/HDD to process/edit the RAW files. So, I am not at all worried about the 'output' side.

Lenses - I have looked on eBay specifically for:-
EF-L lenses, both the Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM & the Canon EF 200mm L f/2.8L ii

Canon like most other camera manufacturers have discontinued DSLR cameras and their respective SLR lenses. In Canon's case that would be EF & EF-S lenses. Your money will be better spent on a Canon EOS R Series camera. Then who knows how long Canon will continue to support legacy equipment.

Look at MPB, they have a great reputation, and their prices are about as good as you will get unless you get real lucky.

I do agree that Mirrorless has since more or less taken-over and is the future for Canon to pursue with - and for us as consumers to rightfully acquire. I can purchase a basic R/RP model for now - but, most reviewers on YT/web/...etc state categorically that best performance is achieved using the newer RF lenses. All of which are all out of my financial budget right now. The Canon R at 45mp will be more than adequate for dedicated studio use. So, with the respective adapter(s) EF-L lenses sourced from 'used' vendors is a viable option. Need to check full specs on the R-series cameras as there are now so many. The R5 looks highly desirable (spec & tech wise) - and also highly priced!

Hence, the decision to stick with a high-res, high performing DSLR body matched with legacy EF-L lenses that still seem to be performing incredibly!

I’m actually wanting to sell my 5DSR. Not sure of the shutter count but it was barely used so it can’t be too high. Let me know if interested and I can send you pics and whatnot. Have the box and original stuff that comes with it.
