Why is the Canon Forum time-wasting?  I received an email notice that I had received a message, but no message appeared when I logged in to the Canon Forum. Was the Canon Forum sending out messages randomly in order to encourage site traffic?

I use the Canon MG5200 multi-function printer.  I downloaded the Canon Solution Ex onto my laptop and onto my PC. On my laptop, the menu displays:Photo Print / Use Scanner / Canon Web Service / Help and Settings / Start Application / Online Shopping ...
