Trying to get my iphone to communicate with my pixmaa pro100 printer

I have installed the Canon print inkjet/selphy app on my iphone and it recognizes the printer, but when trying to print, it is unable to communicate to the printer.  WIFI is connected.  any suggestions?

Are both the printer and the iPad connected to the same wi-fi network?

yes, the printer, my phone & the computer are all on the same network.  Computer will print but phone will not.

Hi woodscat!

 

Try to completely uninstall the Canon PRINT app from your phone, and make sure to clear all of the app data as well. Install the newest version from the App Store. Once you've done that, give it another go.
