We have brand new Canon PRO 4000 S. In windows 8.1 it's not possible to detect this printer. In same computer is accessible via web. In windows 7.0 works all fine. Computers and printer is on same subnet. No firewalls in windows or routers. IPV6 is disabled, bonjour is enabled, dxr wireless is disabled. Any sugestions?

Did you even read my original post? Computers and printer is on same subnet. No firewalls in windows or routers. ???
Solution was manualy create port with IP. This option is on the end of driver instalation and instalation program will accept it. No detection is wotrking. This software is realy badly written. Problem was broadcating to first trunking vlan in my ethernet port. I have multiple due management and printer was on second. So broadcasting and scanning was to nowhere. Realy badly written piece 😞

Hello.
Since your Windows 7 computer can access the printer, there may be a network issue involved with the Windows 8.1 computer. Make sure that the computer is on the same network and subnet as the PRO-4000. It may be possible that the Windows 8.1 computer is on a different network or subnet.
