Missing print options

DougR

It makes no sense, please help!

I have a Pixma MG8220. I have no way to print two sided documents or print in black and white B&W when connected via USB. These options ARE available if I connect via wireless. Worse yet, PDF documents won't offer these options either way.

I also have a problem where I need to constantly reset my router so my printer stays recongnized. Otherwise it seems to fall off the list when I turn off the printer. I haven't checked the forum about this problem yet and I'm sure it's not the printers falt. I'm just not a network savy person and have no idea where the conflict is or what to do about it.

Thanks to everyone who has any input about this!

You have to download Easy Photo Print Pro from the Canon support website MG8220 page under drivers.  It is a DMG file and you install it as you would any program.

Then, when it is print time, go to File>Automation Tools and you will see Easy Print Pro, click on it and the Easy Print Pro window will come up.  You can specify paper size, type of paper, etc.
