I am trying to install AirPrint firmware update on my Canon Pixma 6220. I need help!

Need help on installing firmware update on AirPrint for my Pixma 6220.

Hi Cde!

 

There is a chance that you do not need the firmware update on your printer.  To find this out, we can print a Nozzle Check.  Please perform the following to do this:

 

1.  Select Setup on the HOME screen.

 

2.  Select Maintenance, then press OK.

 

3.  Select Print nozzle check pattern, then press OK.

 

The Nozzle Check pattern will print.  Please check at the bottom under 1-50 Pages and see if there is a firmware version printed.  If so, there is no need to update the firmware.

 

If not, then we will need to download the firmware from our website and perform the update.  Please provide me with your operating system so I can provide specific instructions to do so.
