Capture videos of set length

I'm trying to take a series of 200 four second videos for a microscopy project.  To avoid a nightmare of editing I'd like to tap a button on my computer using EOS Utility 3 which will then record a video of exactly four seconds.  Help!  It's for science!

Looks extremely promising. I'm working with a EOS 6D (WG), I'll peruse the menus

No dice, this must be for some other software, any chance this software would work with my EOS 6D (WG)?

This is a *camera* function. I just checked the 6D manual, and it has an identical page to the one I posted, so it does have video snapshots.
